P.S. 212 Principal’s Message

November 2024

Dear PS 212 Families,

As we enter the month of November, we are filled with gratitude for the continued support of our school community. It has been a wonderful start to the school year, and we are so proud of the progress our students have made in their academic, social, and emotional development.

November brings opportunities for reflection, as we celebrate Thanksgiving later in the month. It is a time to pause and express our appreciation for the many gifts in our lives, including the dedicated staff, hardworking students, and engaged families that make our school a special place.

We would like to share a few important reminders for this month:

Parent-Teacher Conferences:  Our Fall conferences will be held on November 7, 2024. This is a valuable opportunity to meet with your child’s teacher and discuss their progress. If you wish to schedule an in person meeting to see your child’s teacher you may do so by contacting them for an appointment.
Veteran’s Day - November 11, 2024: We thank our veterans for their service!

Monthly Safety Town Hall at 9:00 am – FDNY will also be giving a presentation.  A link was sent on REMIND for this meeting.

Thanksgiving Break:  School will be closed November 29 & November 29 in observance of Thanksgiving. We hope you enjoy a restful and enjoyable holiday with your loved ones.

As always, we encourage you to reach out if you have any questions or concerns. Together, we can continue to create a positive and supportive learning environment for all our students.

Wishing you and your family a joyful and thankful month ahead.

Sincerely,
Rina Horne

Breakfast and Lunch
